The beach is in fact the perfect place for these because if it comes to it you can just shove calcium-rich sand over the fire with bulldozers and wait. Morro Bay has disproportionately participated in polluting the atmosphere, the ground, and the water, and we shouldn't let these fake environmentalists stop projects of statewide importance.

The calcium would eliminate any HF generated in the fire. I don't believe there are any "standards" in this young area of endeavor.


Fighting chemical fires has a very long history.

This sounds like armchair firefighting and not a good argument for locating this facility in Morro Bay.
