To start with, I'm pretty sure it was established early on that the various vaccines don't prevent infection necessarily, but rather reduce the severity of the symptoms.
Vaccines are always one step behind, like they are for Influenza. You can get vaccinated against last years, and still catch this years.
Maybe the vaccine that was given was not given or stored correctly. There were also stories of anti-vaxxer medical staff giving fake vaccinations to people.
And biology is weird and complicated. Given the large human population and diversity, at some point there'll be an exception.
That's plain wrong. iPhone uses sim data or something to enable/disable that noise. Source: myself with two iPhones bought in Japan and used both there and in the EU.
Looking at how an election was cancelled in the Romania for a few ads or how a Musk twitt is somehow "foreign inference in an election" for the EU, yes the election interference narrative is clearly an attempt at censorship.
Now I'm tempted to name a future project "Strč prst skrz krk", possibly without space to form a single word.
By the way I have a single Japanese word named project, but it's related to the language, and that name has two other connections with the project content.
The US revealing its true face (the fact it was no allies, only vassals) and trying to bully Taiwan into giving up its most precious economic could be something that help China in the long run. I mean, given two bullies, why try to appease the distant and foreign one, instead of the one with cultural and linguistic ties? Seems an incredibly short-sighted move from Taiwan, but it's good that more people see its true colors. Taiwan should try to gain more protection from Japan.
It's true tho that Japanese universities have a problem with labs communication. In the former university I was a MEXT student in, there was at least three labs that could have collaborated on topics that my lab was focused one. Granted, one professor welcomed me in his lab to do some stuffs with his students. But otherwise it was like little fiefdoms taking pride in doing things alone. This is contrasting with what's going on (at least in intention) in French research.
I think it's a tech advancement issue, just like touch screens wasn't a thing for a very long time while it they were resistive. Then the iPhone came with capacitive touch screen and now they're everywhere. When (if ever) XR won't suck, which could take a decade or two, it will be adopted massively.
The fundamental difference is in the public: extreme-left for bluesky, trumpist for truth social and twitter for whoever isn't making a platform choice part of its identity.
The extreme left are on small mastodon servers and hate BlueSky and the large mastodon servers almost as much as X at this stage. Given Elon's control of the platform, manipulation of the algorithm and petty bans, it's been a while since X/Twitter has been a neutral choice. What's left of it is certainly at least as right wing as Bluesky is left.
How is this possible?
