Was this the same “foreign meddling” we were told was behind the Hunter Biden story? Sorry but all of this sounds like an attack on free speech. I do think data privacy matters, low censorship is necessary, and content neutral algorithms are important. But boogeyman claims of foreign meddling look like actual meddling themselves.
Looking at how an election was cancelled in the Romania for a few ads or how a Musk twitt is somehow "foreign inference in an election" for the EU, yes the election interference narrative is clearly an attempt at censorship.
Well if it "sounds like" an attack I guess case closed, right? No need to dig into the extensive reporting on the Internet Research Agency or other propaganda outfits.
