Here's the problem I want solved:

1. I have lists of books and movies and TV shows and stuff that I want to watch, but I'm never 100% sure what I should start on next.

2. I have friends who have watched some of these shows and films and read some of these books. I'd like to have watched and read the same things, because then we'd have more to talk about.

Here's what I'd like to have:

I go to HelpMeChoose and it asks, "what is your name?"And I go, "visakanv".

"What books are you thinking of reading?" And I go, "The Box, Games People Play, Snow Crash, string, string, string"

Then it gives me a link, maybe helpmechoose.com/visakanv/books or just helpmechoose.com/visakanv, whatever.

I can then share this link with anybody, and they'll get to +1 to all of the things they think I should read.

It could potentially get a lot more complex from there, but that's the core MVP I'd like to see and use. You could pull in suggested reads and stuff like that, maybe have affiliate links to amazon, blah blah, but for the time being I'd really just like the basic functionality I described.

Does this exist anywhere? Or can you think of any simple/clever/quick workarounds?
