I saw this headline and thought maybe there'd be a way to continue to use Facebook messenger in Adium. Nope. Only if you're building an "app" for iOS or Android.

Can't someone (either from Adium or from the community) just develop a "Facebook" plugin for Adium using their "new" way of doing things?

Sure, you can't use XMPP anymore, but that's okay, right?
