They're trying a correlation attack on the network. Create enough entries and exits, then matching traffic by time, size, and shape.



Do you know this? It seems obvious to me, but calling it a "0day" suggests that maybe the attack is (at least marginally) more sophisticated than the obvious correlation attack. Not to mention, as far as I can see, we have no idea.


To date, no one to date has presented a reliable, scalable, consistent passive correlation algorithm.
