I was at the FOWA talk and I
believe
, though I may misremember, that it was originally intended as one; how delightfully recursive. However, customers didn't want the insecurity of hosting their design and code online, so Atlas became Atlas.app.

Right, 280Atlas.com became 280Atlas.app.
From what Francisco said, it sounds like they may still plan a web-based version.
