You don't think it's possible that the same content can be interesting to audiences of two different sites? Most of the stuff at lobste.rs is reposts from HN, and stuff from HN gets posted to Reddit as well. I see stuff from HN on Ars Technica and CNet occasionally, and vice versa.

It's not a competition. It's the Internet. We're all the same.


Not everyone subscribes to /r/hackernews. I had not see this post before
