The closing paragraph critique of the lack of energy flow would match any number of other input classes which effect the system. its made of acrylic, and doesn't model the enconomics of petrochemicals as inputs to plastics construction.

It's a valid point, but I think it could be better stated. The impact of energy cost on the economy is now immensely topical.
