With more and more workplaces constantly running on skeleton crews as that's cheaper, with a correspondingly higher amount of workplace disasters happening due to lack of maintenance, I can't say I blame them. Especially if there's no reward for going above and beyond, since their boss just wants above and beyond to become the new norm. Not their fault their boss didn't hire enough people.
