How does this reconcile with what we are told is a dramatic loss of pageviews due to "AI" searches?


Remember when CVS, among others, was closing all those stores due to a giant rise in theft? And they complained loudly?

Remember when they later apologized because it turned out there was no giant rise in theft?

It tells you any company having trouble adapting is thrilled to find a popular scapegoat so they don’t have to admit they made mistakes. Or at least to explain why they’re not doing even better if doing fine.

The company who cried wolf is an endemic problem.
