The lobbying must be intense from the likes of these rivals against SpaceX. I can't imagine how much money they are pouring into the pockets of our Politicians to neuter SpaceX.



The article doesn't say how these contracts were vital. Given that Trump, through DOGE and otherwise, has been willing to scrap lots of other programs considered vital, there must be some other overriding factor that causes this decision.


To start with SpaceX as of yet has proven to be the only commercial space flight org reliably able to move personnel and cargo to ISS.

Boeing tried, and we all know what happened next.
