Do humans without inner narrative really exist? It could be just a misunderstanding about what "inner narrative" is, or the degree of perception.

In some systems the interruption of the inner dialog, that leads to a inner silence, opens a door to expansion of perception to other realms.

yes. I can "summon one up" at times where it's useful, but normally no. Might have something to do with the aphantasia, or maybe not.

Considering how I observe my inner monologue it is hard for me to believe that someone wouldn't notice they had it if in fact they did have it.

I just don't know how someone who has inner monologue wouldn't have inner monologue also spelling it out for them that it exists.
