What does AI writing do to the quality or veracity of the story? It it doesn't do anything to it, then it doesn't matter.
A lot of people are becoming irrationally biased against AI in the same way that people can be irrationally racist (aka biased against race). Judge the piece on the writing alone, not whether it was written by or assisted by an AI.
