Electric shock torture on a noncombattant? I truly don't understand how you can have that much animus toward the people you are invading.

Oh cool, we get to hear the Russian view on this. So are you saying this is totally fabricated or simply not representative of the larger invasion or what?

Obviously countries create heroes and fabricate or embellish facts. But there's no shortage of neutral countries and journalists to sort fact from fiction - unless you happen to be so far gone that you think everything is NATO propaganda. There is also no shortage atrocities in this conflict, most of which perpetrated by your country.

>But there's no shortage of neutral countries and journalists to sort fact from fiction

Sure. Have you heard about Gonzalo Lira? [0] He was arrested by Ukrainian security services and died in prison. Apparently, sorting facts from fiction isn't safe thing to do in the Ukraine.

>most of which perpetrated by your country

What made you think that? Articles like this one? That is their purpose.

I have heard of Gonzalo Lira, in fact. I did not realize his arrest somehow absolves your country of its many crimes in this war. Was that the point you were trying to make? Because it's a bad one. No one here has said or implied that anyone in this conflict is pure. But the disparity in war crimes is very large and heavily against your country.

>But the disparity in war crimes is very large and heavily against your country.

What made you think that?

BBC, NPR, Al Jazeera, Yevgeny Prigozhin... it is a pretty long list. Even your boy heavily implies what he is okay doing with his own rhetoric, to say nothing for what his proxies (like Lavrov and Dugin) say.

I imagine you see cruise missiles hitting childrens hospitals and say, "false flag". I hope you're a paid propagandist and not an honest believer that Russia is somehow right here.

>I imagine you see cruise missiles hitting childrens hospitals and say, "false flag".

I'd say that there was a military target nearby and the missile missed it.

Now what do you say when you see low precision MLRS rockets, launched by Ukrainians, hitting city center, wounded Russian women screaming and thrashing in agony and one of the top Ukrainian propagandists reposting the video with the caption "Happy New Year, Bitches"? [0]

Do you think there is evidence of your country waging a terror campaign against Ukraine in order to break their will to resist the invasion?

You are welcome to continue pointing out single instances of Ukraine "doing the same thing". They will continue to be irrelevant because at no point did I say Ukraine was above reproach.

The disparity in war crimes I mentioned above is characterized by number, severity, and intention.

>The disparity in war crimes I mentioned above is characterized by number, severity, and intention.

As reported by Western media which is known for its honesty and objectivity.

Haha famously western Al Jazeera. And the BBC, where if you say something critical of the government you fall out a window. I hope someday the NYT can exhibit the journalistic excellence of Marina.

I am glad we finally got to the point where you claim that the global consensus is wrong. Please continue living in your own reality until you get conscripted.

>Haha famously western Al Jazeera.

Qatar is an ally of the US and hosts the largest American military base in the Middle East .

>And the BBC, where if you say something critical of the government you fall out a window.

You don't fall out of the window in Russia if you are busy waging propaganda war against (not so) Great Britain.

>I am glad we finally got to the point where you claim that the global consensus is wrong.

There is no such thing. The US and its allies comprise only 10-15% of global population.

Lol jesus the range of MLRS is 30km. How much hubris does your government have to not evacuate civilians from the conflict zone? If you are wringing your hands over this your first stop should be your own government.

Your "Lol" as the reaction to the video of wounded and dead Russian women is quite telling. As is the fact that you chose not to comment on Ukrainian "Happy New Year, Bitches" reaction to it. Thank you, I don't think I have any more questions for you.

Vilkha's range is up to 130 kilometers, btw. [0]

The lol was at you, my friend. I don't feel the need to address assholes on either side, not some random Ukrainian, not Igor Girkin. These people exist in any war and they should be ignored.

Ah it was a Russian-made MLRS? Seems like a great benchmark range to use for evacuating villages near the conflict you started. Why didn't your country do this?

>Ah it was a Russian-made MLRS?

You failed even to click the link and read a single sentence before writing your comment.

>Why didn't your country do this?

For the same reason the Ukraine doesn't do it either.

Get out of Ukraine. Stop invading countries.

See? That's easy.

Don't you know the history of Russia? It doesn't matter Imperial Russia, Soviet Russia, or Putin's Russia. Always abusive, violent and against Humanity.

Ask the people of Georgia, Syria, Ukraine, or all those countries in the Sahel Belt if you want a first hand testimony.

Are we doing "who's the most oppressive?".

These kinds of arguments always end up in some sort of historic "who is the baddest baddie".

Thanks Russia and USA. It's all about you two. All roads lead to the cold war.

Current wars and small state sovereignty? How hilarious. Just mere fading pages in the big book to serve as examples of oppression.

The original question is 'between Russia and Ukraine'. I'm answering that.

Gonzalo Lira, a guy helping the Russian invader to commit their crimes. That's the guy you're talking about. And you try to use him as an example?

What propaganda? What do you mean?

Edit: I think it's a good time to read this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_crimes_in_the_Russian_inva...

Like this one from the first days of the war:

"Ukraine has honoured 13 soldiers who were killed defending a tiny island after reportedly swearing at a Russian ship that ordered them to surrender.

In unverified audio clips, the borders guards defending Zmiinyi Island in the Black Sea are told to "lay down your weapons" or "be bombed".

"Russian warship, go to hell," they respond.

Ukraine says they were then killed by air and sea strikes. Russia denies the account, saying they all surrendered.

Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky has awarded each of the guards the posthumous title of "Hero of Ukraine".

"On our Zmiinyi Island, defending it to the last, all the border guards died heroically," Mr Zelensky said." [0]

This senseless slaughter in response to a verbal insult was used to the maximum extent by the Ukrainian regime propaganda to convince the population and the army to fight.

All of it was a lie, of course. [1]

I believed it too and was deeply shocked by the horrible news. Of course, this trick works only once.

I'm reporting about crimes against civilians. What you're posting is not related at all.

It looks to me you're trying too hard to derail the conversation.

You asked what I meant by atrocity propaganda. I gave you an example of atrocity propaganda coming from Kiev. How is it not related?

Now, how do you know that what you are "reporting" is not the same kind of story?

[flagged]

"independent"?

I looked at the article.

There are two "sources":

"Yuriy Belousov, who heads the war crimes department at the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, said that forensic examination found “numerous signs of torture and ill-treatment… including abrasions and hemorrhages on various parts of the body, a broken rib and possible traces of electric shock.”

...

Roshchyna’s colleagues at Ukrainska Pravda said her body was returned from Russia with missing organs. Citing members of the investigating team who handled her remains, they said the brain, eyeballs and part of the trachea, or windpipe, were missing, in what they said could have been an attempt by Russia to disguise the cause of death. "

Can you tell me why the head of the war crimes department talks about a broken rib but says nothing about "missing organs"? Quite odd, isn't it? Have you thought about it before asking if I condemn "the mutilation" of that woman?

It's crystal clear you're OK with the kidnapping of that woman, her torture, and her killing. But you want to talk about how many organs were removed as if that could justify all the horror in any way?

That makes you a very disgusting human being, I'm sorry to say it.

In which kind of World do you want to live? Because remember, you'll reap what you're sowing.

>But you want to talk about how many organs were removed

And the Ukrainian prosecutor simply forgot to tell about any "removed organs".

I feel sorry for you.
