I was driven to school during preschool, kindergarten, and part of grade school, biked or walked in junior high or high school. My kid is in preschool and I drive him or walk him to school. He'll be able to walk to junior high and high school, and will probably take the bus to grade school. I don't mind the pickup line right now.
