Russia is not intrested in peace. The only solution is supporting Ukraine until Putin changes his mind. Undermining them only makes peace less likely because then why would Russia stop


I'd say it's the opposite: undercutting Ukraine's ability to fight would effectively be a one-sided ceasefire. It would indeed end the violence, but lead to a literal genocide.

Resuming arms deliveries gives Ukraine a negotiating position. They have some firing to cease.

Whether it actually will lead to a ceasefire is hard to say. There is reason to think that Putin has demands that Ukraine will see as preparation for the next war. Ukraine will be demanding guarantees of future sovereignty that Putin is unlikely to tolerate -- not just a promise, but alliances with the West to enforce them.
