It baffles me that people can't see the writing on the wall for Musk, he's being given all the rope in the world to hang himself with.
He's made promises he can't deliver.
He's pissed off the ENTIRE federal government.
His own people are bailing.
Trump admin told feds they can ignore the "DOGE" order.
He isn't an appointee, just an advisor (ergo no real legal cover).
He's a rich ketamine addict who is in so far over his head that he doesn't even realize he's drowning. I give him 1-2 months before the backlash builds to the point that Trump finishes using him as a human shield and discards him.
Seemingly the only people who don't realize that are the breathless headline-readers, and Musk himself. I love this place when it talks about tech, but my lord the political illiteracy is shocking.
