I'd like to extend this to "In defense of having a consistently organized UI and menu structure and not throwing icon-only buttons, text-only buttons, right-click menus, mouseover menus and '...'/'hamburger' menus randomly all over the UI."
Notable examples would be MS Teams and the YouTube app, but almost every modern app seems to do that to some degree.
