For context, those are the 3 largest trading partners the US has, together something like ~42% of the international trade volume.

Make it the top-4 by adding the EU, and it goes to ~56%.

Great news for all the people who voted on the price of eggs


As a Canadian in Ontario, it’s unsettling to see half a million jobs on the line over tariffs that seem to have no rational justification. The worst part? There’s no sign of sanity returning anytime soon. I’d like to believe this is just a temporary lapse, but everything from the past few days suggests otherwise.

Putting tariffs on Canada is particularly dumb. There's no value in alienating your allies. Maybe Canada really should join the EU:

As a Canadian I hope that the country undertakes an unprecedented effort to build the needed infrastructure to start exporting more goods to other nations.

The message that Trump is sending to the world is that Americans do not keep their word and cannot be trusted.
