The google maps api console only shows you the number of API requests for the last 30 days. You can’t see historical usage. You can, though, see historical billing.
For example, for us, a $174 bill (discounted to $0), at $5 per 1,000 requests, means 38,400 requests. Under the new pricing, you knock off 10,000 requests. 24.8*5 =124. Stinks that they can’t just plainly show historical usage.
As someone who just put a map on my website, I find this press release completely unreadable. Not a single of word of it makes sense to me, and I assume that it means a massive price hike.
