Like many things in life, the value proposition of proprietary builds on over-valued hardware is irresistible to some folks. Really depends on the use-case, as some people find custom kernel driver development or maintenance fun. Have a great day =)

Ordered one, it's coming today. Since I have TotalTech if I completely hate it I've got something like two months to give up on it. I don't game so if I can pull it off I can leave my XPS at home; we'll see ....
