If you replace "the internet" with "web browsers", you would be correct. "The internet" doesn't care what bits and bytes travel through it, nor who uses it.

(and we mean IP routing, DNS, BGP and ISP governance etc) is far from
a level system and what needs to be done to restore it to public
service as a global tool for the good of humanity.
