I strongly endorse unpoly, it's a wonderful JavaScript library run by a great engineer, and it offers best in class progressive enhancement and many useful features layered on top of plain HTML.
I see a lot of discussion on HN about HTMX. One of the, IMO, fair criticisms of HTMX is that it's a bit low level and misses some of the features included by JS frameworks.
Unpoly is better in that respect as it has higher level abstractions that are really nice to have for the typical HTMX user. I particularly appreciate built-in layers for sub interactions, animations, and form helpers.
Nah. The point is to try to get people who are aware of HTMX aware of a library that does the same thing better. The title you suggest is unhelpfully vague, although technically correct. I forgot about the HN guidelines with respect to editorialized titles. Since it's not an article, but more of a "show” I was trying to use a title that would bring more immediate recognition of it's value proposition.
Too bad, it's a fantastic library too few people know about.
