Anecdotally, I think computer skills are generally lower in the younger generation. At work they reflexively Google everything, even things that live on the company intranet. Local, web app, cloud, they don’t understand where stuff is. Simple hardware troubleshooting is tough for them. The era I grew up in was when computers required fiddling with to work, kids these days don’t get the same experience.
