Idiots in the government office trying to enforce trademark law when they absolutely know nothing about trademark law. I wonder if people in government understand how normal people see them and their actions. Because literally this was just a petty person doing something dumb they weren't qualified to do. If they had asked their coworkers or their manager and they agreed then they're all at fault.

What makes people so upset is that it all seems so opaque on what happens and why. Literally having to raise a fit on social media to get it corrected is the biggest problem here. Because if you didn't have a sufficient social media presence you would get ignored so how many people are getting ignored? There needs to be some accountability for people in these government offices for their actions. It seems we've granted people large amounts of power over individuals but absolutely no responsibility and repercussions that come along with it proportional to that power.
