What if in addition to "building something people want", a natural outcome of your project for users was the "sustainability and joy of everyday life"? What a challenge!
There was a previous post that I had to step away from because it's a sore subject for me, that of work-life balance and "perfectionism", but really, I choose the pursuit of perfection (and the resulting consequence of a possible imbalance) because that possibility of what could be if perfection was achieved makes it effort / risk worth it.
