As for the claim that most people owning EVs would prefer an ICE car, that's not true. The fact is most EV owners (54%) said they're next car would be an EV, whilst 46% said it would be ICE. There were many reasons given for their next car being ICE, only one of which was they hated they hate their EV, and even then, most of that hate was directed at the state of public charging, not the vehicle itself.
