Is that only in certain markets? In the US, Pepsi lists the ingredients as:

CARBONATED WATER, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CARAMEL COLOR, SUGAR, PHOSPHORIC ACID, CAFFEINE, CITRIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVOR

What's interesting to me is that it has both HFCS and normal sugar.

HFCS replaced sugar due to cost cutting, and does taste different than sugar. They could be using a blend to try and bring back the sugar profile without raising costs as much.
