Match made in heaven, for the most part (: PUC Lua also has a very solid coherent C implementation; it's basically a masterclass in making an effective, portable, but also necessarily complex C library.

Lua is definitely a pedagogic language and project all the way to its roots. I often feel like I’m taking a class on compilers when using it. :)
