The first order problem is how do we compensate those whose performances and art were unique and recognizable before computers could imitate them.

However we solve for that will tell us if and how we can motivate people to make all the tradeoffs needed to stand out and bring new unique art into the world.

I am hoping we land somewhere in between the extremes of "no copyright use" and "what's a copyright" and create a royalty system that can trace your content's influence on the weights used at inference and cut you in according to your contribution.
