Sam Altman’s personality is another proof of the theory that startup/Silicon Valley hyperinnovation culture has a massive problem of incentivizing manipulative narcissists to rise to the top. The entire culture clearly has a set of filters in place that favor individuals with extreme manipulative god-complex-style traits, who are convinced their mission is so supreme and important that any other rule shouldn’t apply to them.

The fact that the future of AI is in the hands of one of these individuals is an utter disaster.
