This is pretty much exactly the opposite of what modern science tells us about weight loss, and especially the _psychology_ of it.

It _is_ that hard, and even if you starve yourself, the body just lowers your BMR to compensate.

I highly recommend reading this: https://highline.huffingtonpost.com/articles/en/everything-y...

I eat once a day until my stomach is on the verge of explosion, weight lift or climb virtually every day of the week, and I'm losing fat

I'm nowhere close to starvation either since my lifts are going up

If you keep the diet that made you obese and reduce it by 50% you'll feel like shit, if you have a proper diet you can eat until your jaws physically hurt and still have room for extra calories

An article promoting fat acceptance?

I hope something is done about this dangerous cult that keeps the obese away from getting the help they need.

You can either try meeting people where they're at and understand the issues they're having; or continue to try to shame them into getting thinner.

Past ~30 years have shown us that the latter _very clearly_ doesn't work, but sure, a "dangerous cult".

Surely there's something between shaming and acceptance. Neither are helpful, after all. The recent 'body positivity' movement just sends a message that it's _okay_ to be obese.
