Yeah why don’t we blow up the planet today instead of another day of wage slavery or Medicare? The idea is to keep living and stay healthier longer, because living is good and the future is bright.

That's quite a jump, and it's very telling.

The planet would actually be much better off without humans living on it. Why blow it up? Leave it to squirrels and manatees and so on.
