Blockchain is at least 15 years old, if it was useful it wouldn't take so much effort to convince people it is useful.

Last I heard the Australian stock market was upgrading its settlement system (CHESS) to use blockchain technology. So they clearly see value in it.

Sorry, I looked into this and it seems like the ASX abandoned their blockchain integration project. In the end, they spent over $150 million trying to get it to work. This was not a good example to use, and I apologize.
