As long as it's not totally unreasonable, I (and I assume other OpenWRT enthusiasts) would gladly pay a premium for a device that includes truly first class OpenWRT support.

I will absolutely pay $100 for that router with top notch openwrt support. Not cheap, but very reasonable.
