Or, flipped, Homebrew is like the AUR of Mac. My new company is considering adopting Linux and is considering Ubuntu, and I pitched Arch because I really want to use the AUR again. I don't like installing PPAs with Ubuntu.

Homebrew is also the Homebrew of Linux, with the bonus that it works on more than one distro.
