Good chance it's the dominant programming tool by user count. Excel is broken, terrible crap. Both of those are true at the same time. There is surely a market opportunity there.

One would think. I have yet to find a spreadsheet program that doesn't mimic Excels behavior for automatic conversion up to the point of making it non-optional.
