Most of my work involves filling very repetitive templates with the same information and variables.
Therefore, if I can auto-fill variables, my work is done for me.
I actually wrote a Docs Script to do this already: it's a simple search-replace substitution for a hardcoded string into a string that I enter in dialog. I haven't even shared this script with others because it's so specialized and rough. But variables could absolutely revolutionize my workflow, depending on the details. I'm excited!
