Ask HN: Best newsletter for keeping up with ChatGPT tricks and tips?
20 points by Axsuul on July 7, 2023 | hide | past | favorite | 5 comments
It's been 3 months since this was asked and with ChatGPT traveling at hyper speed it's so hard to keep up with the latest tips on how to best leverage it. Anyone got a resource in newsletter or RSS feed form to stay on tops of things? Thanks

I just answer questions on their forums. Most of the time I learn something when someone else gives a better solution.

You get to see real problems, limitations, what can be solved by AI, what doesnt. Lots of resources are just hype, talking about grand solutions that don't work in production.

The three I've been enjoying are...

Ben's Bites (https://bensbites.co/) You Probably Need A Robot (https://youprobablyneedarobot.com/) Cave Minds (https://www.caveminds.com/)

That last one is very focused on practical uses for AI inside businesses - so like... How do you actually use this as a founder or COO.

Not affiliated with any. Just enjoying

Try subscribing to Unwind AI (https://unwindai.substack.com/). They publish quick 3-min daily newsletters on latest developments in AI. Each edition also has "prompt of the day", helps to learn how to properly craft prompts and squeeze the best out of ChatGPT.

I was subscribed to many such newsletters but they were all very shallow and full of ads. I noticed I was only subscribed due to FOMO and unsubscribed. I get more meaningful content by the traditional means.

AI Brews is my recommendation: https://aibrews.substack.com (I subscribe to the newsletter instead of reading on substack)
