I decided I was going to learn a little bit of programming as a hobby because I was extremely bored, and have found it to unexpectedly be an extraordinarily comforting activity that triggers a dangerous level of hyperfocus - where I, 1. Get extremely time blind, and 2. Find it difficult to stop in order to do other important life things like turning up to work.
How do people with ADHD manage this?
Just like my mom used to say when I was playing world of warcraft and she needed to use the phone: find a stopping point. But seriously, alarms help me.

My Apple watch pings me every hour to stand up. It's super annoying but does encourage me to stand and move. It can help keep you from complete submersion in hyper focus.
