I have a VR headset, and it lives in a cardboard box. The reason is that the only thing I'd actually use it for it does poorly. That being immersive media consumption. By the time you have a virtual movie theater the resolution remaining for the actual movie might as well be a VHS. If this is as good as it sounds like it is, that problem is solved.

I won't be getting one for $3500, but if I was single or a higher earner I probably would. I'm sure they'll sell as many as they can make.
