You know what works just like the Red Hat model, but yields way better returns? The AWS model. Just take all these tech-tested market-tested open source projects, slap on a new name and bill them by the hour.
I'd be curious to know the revenue breakdown of all their various products as a percentage of the total. I wonder if all those products you reference bring in much $$ compared to the bread and butter ones that they started off with - EC2, S3, etc
