The far-right often plays the victim card to gain concessions and avoid punishment for openly anti-social and hostile behavior. They paint themselves as persecuted when, more often than not, they are persecuting anyone who dares to condemn their often racist or misogynist (engineered to manufacture outrage and media attention) behaviors and discourse.
The only way to deal with it is to expel the students and get restraining orders so they don't disturb life on campus.
isn't it weird how there's no "right" that's not also "far", "radical", or some other pejorative?
How do you play the victim card without some unequal treatment to point to? For example, terms like "racist" and "misogynist" being thrown in order to avoid debate, regardless of their actual application or relevance to a situation?
It agrees with Hoffman on one important thing. There has been a shift in campus conservative activism, from “conservative campus organizations and actors [that] favor a more erudite style of political discussion” to ones “which are often very well funded” and “thrive on confrontation.”
