The HN audience can be quite unforgiving, especially those who comment on things like this, but there are a lot of us who read what you say and understand where you're coming from. I personally very much appreciate your consistency in responding reasonably to complaints.

For myself, the pictures from OP looked much more like an onboarding tutorial for the extension's features than they did an ad, and I suspect that's how most people would react.
