Don't get me wrong. But if you're smart why you don't have your own company or business? Making a successful business in a capitalism atmosphere is not that hard for smart people.
The thing that makes me wonder is cases like yours.

Well, I'm smart, but very lazy, so in other words a programmer. We don't like to do work, and business seems like work. It just strikes me as odd that there's few people who are both smart and not lazy.
