About two and a half years ago I retired from my role as a Redis developer to do something else. I started writing a novel about AI and climate change that had programmers and scientists as its central figures. I wanted to dwell on the people who do this job, often shown by cinema only in their declination of hackers (in the sense of computer pirates). The novel was released in Italian less than five months ago, and is now finally available in English. Here on HN there is a large community of programmers, which is also the one in which I trained, having been one of the first members. I feel like HNers are the natural recipients of this book. This is why I wanted to write that Wohpe is now available in its English translation, performed by Bridget Pupillo and with my support.
