1. Start with a simple tech stack you’re already familiar with though this will likely change over time
2. Build a few of your favorite features, either because you want to use them yourself or because you like building that kind of feature
3. Get your friends and family to use it with you
4. Listen to their feedback, or ignore it, and build the next few interesting features
5. Get your friends’ friends and family to try it out and give you feedback
6. Keep going as long as you enjoy the process
