Scam apps still active on App Store – steal over $100M annually (laptopmag.com)

Anyone who works for Apple, reading this, should pass this to the App Store team to review.

E.g. (from https://github.com/avast/ioc/blob/master/Fleeceware/Fleecewa...)

- Store text erroneously claims "$40.99" for yearly charge ... to "boost bass" ... yeah right.

- Actual IAP for yearly is two IAP: one $59.99, the other $75.99

Clearly intending to defraud customers.

This seems like a legacy of the way the app store used to work. Today if you delete an app with an active subscription you are prompted to unsubscribe.
