I really like the basic concept, but it might be a little weird being at a music festival where everyone is licking their wristbands. Are there sanitary concerns? When the main acts go on at a festival, the crowds get packed like sardines and wristbands are certainly rubbing up against people.

I see so much value in convenient alcohol consumption monitoring though.
